Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 August 2026. Last updated: 6 September 2026.

Publisher: The Expression Code is published under the AMDGAMES brand. Privacy and support enquiries can be sent to amdcoolgames@gmail.com or through the public Support form.

Information used by the game

The game stores level progress, rewards, settings, player name and the selected profile picture on the device. A photo selected for a profile is cropped locally for the in-game profile. Supported operating-system backup features may also retain app data.

Purchases

Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. The game receives product identifiers and purchase or entitlement status. It does not receive payment-card details.

Advertising and consent

If advertising is enabled in the production build, Google Mobile Ads and the Google User Messaging Platform are used for rewarded and interstitial advertising and privacy choices. Advertising data practices must also be declared accurately in the Apple App Privacy and Google Play Data safety forms for the production configuration.

Online competition and rankings

If you use Daily Cup rankings, live competition or shared leaderboards, the game sends a pseudonymous installation identifier, your chosen player name, a simple avatar reference, current level, Daily Cup score/time and competition results to The Expression Code competition service hosted on Render. The service stores ratings, wins, losses, draws and match records in its database so matchmaking and rankings can work. Your selected profile photo itself is not uploaded to the competition service.

Support and diagnostics

If you choose to report an issue, the report can include the text you enter plus diagnostic context such as app version, level, round, current screen and online status. The installed app opens the device sharing controls so you decide how to send the report. The public Support form collects the information you submit so the publisher can respond.

Retention

Local game data remains until you clear app data or uninstall the game, subject to operating-system backup settings. Online competition records may be retained while the service is operating so ratings, leaderboards and match history remain consistent. The app limits locally saved issue-report copies to the most recent 50. Support-form submissions should be retained only for as long as needed to respond and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations.

Your choices and data deletion

You can change advertising privacy choices from Settings where the consent platform requires an entry point. You can change or remove your profile picture at any time.

Delete online competition data: in the installed app, open Profile → Support → Delete Online Data. This permanently removes the pseudonymous online player profile, rating, Daily Cup scores and match records associated with that installation from The Expression Code competition database. Local game progress, settings and purchase entitlements remain on the device until you clear app data or uninstall the game. If you later use online features again, a new pseudonymous online record may be created.

For a manual deletion request, other privacy requests, or deletion of information you submitted through Support, visit the Data Deletion page, use the Support form and choose “Data deletion request”, or email amdcoolgames@gmail.com.

Third parties and service providers

Depending on the production configuration, the app uses Apple App Store or Google Play for purchases, Google Mobile Ads / User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent, Netlify for the public website/support pages, and Render for the cross-platform competition server and PostgreSQL database.
